HR Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the HR team with key administrative processes and contributing to employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and updating applicant records.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
Respond to employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate HR data is provided.
Assist in coordinating training programs, tracking attendance, and monitoring completion.
Draft HR-related documents, including contracts, offer letters, and other communications.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including report generation and data entry.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a good understanding of HR systems is a plus.
High attention to detail with a proactive and positive attitude.
Working towards or holding a CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable but not required.
